This hat is more of a traditional sun hat, tightly woven with black string around the crown
and tied in the back with a bow.
There is very little "fraying" on the underside of the rim,
There is very little "fraying" on the underside of the rim,
although it stops at the seam line, so
it appears that it would not continue.
Because it is a woven Vintage hat I would still
give a little extra TLC to it.
The black string could possibly be taken off,for a cleaner look.
Summer is practically here, don't let this one get away!
